President Mahama inspected construction work along the three-lane dual carriageway 15 km Awoshie-Pokuasie road on July 24, 2014.

The projects was aimed at easing traffic along those routes.
The project involves the construction of some social improvement facilities including schools, clinics, markets and lorry parks.
The project was completed in 2015.
